The chance for flooding is slightly higher than the average spring, and to avoid repeating the chaos from previous floods, university officials have formed a plan that will keep Mayflower residents prepared and ready to evacuate. Water levels are projected to peak between April 25th and the 27th. The water levels are expected to reach 705 feet. Which is safely under the 712 mark, but Mayflower wants to be ready if they are hit with an above average rainfall.

If flooding does occur, students will be relocated to different dorms, university apartments, and some may be asked to move home if they are from the area. And although water levels are higher than they were during the flood of 2008, students are remaining calm.
